During the height of the pandemic, I was approached by Premier, a leading healthcare company (NASDAQ: PINC), to create a custom digital conference experience for their annual Breakthroughs Conference. After years of product work and experience, I formed the Industrious and moved back into client work. I was able to gather a specialized team to create our conference platform, leading to a successful launch of the Breakthroughs 21 Digital Conference Experience in 2021.
After our successful launch, Premier asked us to stay on board and operate as an embedded agency within their company. Our team has now worked with Premier for close to 4 years and has been privileged to help them launch new brands, products, and web experiences.
Outcomes:
The Breakthroughs 21 Conference Experience received the 2021 Digital Health Award thanks to our custom platform. With 4,500+ virtual attendees and 10K+ streams, our system experienced zero downtime. We built an immersive experience, allowing attendees to network, chat, stream videos, and even browse a trade show floor, interacting with virtual booths. We have continued to provide marketing websites and conference streaming platforms each year since 2021 for the Breakthroughs Conferences.
We have also been honored to create the brand and identity system for PINC AI, Premier's artificial intelligence and data arm. This company was launched in 2022, utilizing and implementing our brand manuals and initiatives across all 2,600 employees. We also created the pinc-ai.com website ecosystem and CMS, utilizing Sanity to enable the Premier team to make updates quickly and efficiently.
Most currently, the team and I have been integral in Premier's digital product work across 100+ applications. We are currently assisting Premier in building out their component library, allowing for the unification of their UX, ideally equipping development teams to build faster and more cohesively. We have also built a Figma component library and design system for Premier's UX teams to allow for faster product prototyping.
