Revolver
Kingdom's mission was to create stunning products and spaces. We created Revolver, a high-end subscription art service as a way to provide clients with a method to keep their walls feeling new and fresh even after we have finished our remodel. We not only created and printed custom art pieces in multiple sizes each month but designed and manufactured custom frames that allow clients to easily change out prints each month.
Outcomes:
We were able to spin this company up fairly quickly, and during launch realized that even though our initial plan was to upsell existing clients with our service, our primary demographic was design-forward individuals looking for new art for their homes. After growing and scaling the company and client base over 6 months, the cost of outsourcing manufacturing for our frames combined with conflicting initiatives within the company (focusing on product work vs. focusing on larger client jobs) forced us off this company. One day I hope to revisit Revolver and see it become what I envisioned it to potentially become.
